Module overview:
This module uses CP2102 of SILICON LABS as the core chip. Support Windows 8/7/Vista/Server 2003/XP/2000/ Mac OS-X/OS-9/ Linux and other common operating systems.
Support baud rate: 300, 600, 1200, 1800, 2400, 4000, 4800, 7200, 9600 , 14400, 16000, 19200, 28800, 38400 , 51200, 56000, 57600, 64000 , 76800, 115200 , 128000, 153600, 230400 , 250000, 256000 , 460800, 500000, 576000, 921600 and other commonly used baud rates. Definitely a leader in USB-TTL chips.
Module pin description:
1.TXD: CP2102 data transmission pin, usually connected to the RXD of other modules. TLL level, can not be directly connected to RS232 level.
2. RXD: CP2102 data receiving pin, usually connected to the TXD of other modules. TLL level, can not be directly connected to RS232 level.
3.GND: the ground of CP2102
4.5v: output 5v power (max 500mA)
5. DTR/RST: Provide reset timing when burning arduino pro mini and other boards.
6.3.3v: output 3.3v power
Description of functional characteristics:
Laid Point 1: 500mA with a resettable fuse, can effectively guarantee a load short circuit damage to the computer module or modules.
Feature 2: The power/TXD/RXD indicators are all listed for easier debugging.
Feature 3: All CP2102 pin functions are listed, which is helpful for various development applications.
Feature 4 ( specific function ): function with DTR, Arduino pro mini directly to the system board and other minimal direct burning process, without having to press the reset button . Other modules with this function such as FT232RL are at least twice the price of CP2102.
