PL7501C is a 5V input that supports the application of dual-cell lithium batteries in series. It is a lithium-ion boost charge management IC. PL7501C integrates power MOS and adopts an asynchronous switch architecture, so that it only needs very few peripheral devices in application, which can effectively reduce The overall solution size reduces BOM cost. The boost switching charge converter operates at 600KHz .

Charging process

 PL7501C adopts complete CC/CV charging mode. When the double-cell lithium battery voltage is less than 2 V , the system charges the battery with 1/20 Icc . When the voltage of the dual-cell lithium battery is greater than 2V but less than 5.6V , the system enters the constant current charging mode. When the battery voltage is close to 8.4V , the system enters the constant voltage mode. After entering the constant voltage mode, if the charging current is less than 100MA , the system will stop charging. When the battery is fully charged, if the battery voltage drops below 8.2V , the system will restart to charge the battery.
