Tolerance Selection: ±0.25 pF is a standard grade for this value, providing a good balance between precision and cost for most general-purpose RF and timing applications. If tighter accuracy is required, ±0.1 pF variants are also available.
Voltage Derating: Unlike Class 2 dielectrics (X7R/X5R), C0G/NP0 does not lose capacitance under applied DC voltage. The 50V rating maintains full 0.5 pF performance up to the maximum operating voltage.
PCB Layout: Use minimal trace lengths and place the capacitor as close as possible to the IC pins when used in RF or high-speed circuits to minimize parasitic inductance.
