The UGE GD25Q128 SPI Flash Module is a compact non-volatile memory module based on the GigaDevice GD25Q128 128-Mbit SPI NOR Flash. It provides 16 MB of storage for embedded systems requiring additional program, configuration, data-logging or firmware storage.
The module exposes the SPI interface through a clearly labeled header, making it easy to connect to ESP32, STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi and other microcontroller or embedded platforms.
The onboard Flash device supports Standard SPI, Dual SPI and Quad SPI operation, allowing the module to be used for applications ranging from simple data storage to high-speed external memory.

Flash IC: GigaDevice GD25Q128
Memory Type: SPI NOR Flash
Density: 128 Mbit
Capacity: 16 MB
Operating Voltage: 2.7–3.6 V for the 3V GD25Q128 family
Interface: SPI / Dual SPI / Quad SPI
Page Size: 256 bytes
Sector Size: 4 KB
Block Erase: 32 KB / 64 KB
Data Retention: 20 years typical for the GD25Q128H variant
Endurance: 100,000 program/erase cycles minimum for the GD25Q128H variant
Your onboard connector is clearly labeled:
3V3
FLASH_CS
FLASH_CLK
FLASH_MOSI
FLASH_MISO
GND
3V3
3.3V power supply for the Flash IC.
FLASH_CS
SPI chip-select / CS# signal.
FLASH_CLK
SPI clock / SCLK.
FLASH_MOSI
SPI data input / MOSI.
FLASH_MISO
SPI data output / MISO.
GND
Ground.
For Quad SPI applications, the additional Flash I/O signals are available at the Flash IC but are not broken out on your 6-pin header as shown in the photo. Therefore, I would advertise the module primarily as a 6-pin SPI interface module, while mentioning Quad SPI as an IC capability rather than implying that all four data lines are externally accessible.
For a conventional MCU SPI connection:
Flash Module MCU
3V3 -------- 3.3V
GND -------- GND
FLASH_CS -------- GPIO / CS
FLASH_CLK -------- SPI SCLK
FLASH_MOSI -------- SPI MOSI
FLASH_MISO -------- SPI MISO
The chip-select line can be assigned to any suitable GPIO on the host MCU.
The GD25 family is intended for embedded applications requiring compact, low-pin-count non-volatile storage and supports standard, dual and quad SPI interfaces.
The module can be used with platforms supporting 3.3V SPI, including:
For 5V microcontrollers, the host system should provide appropriate 3.3V logic-level compatibility/translation rather than connecting 5V GPIO signals directly to the Flash device.
