The IRLR7843 is a logic-level N-channel MOSFET designed for low-voltage, high-current applications. It features a very low RDS(on), high current capability, and is optimized for use with logic-level gate drive (as low as 4.5V). Packaged in DPAK / TO-252, it is ideal for DC-DC converters, motor control, battery-powered circuits, and synchronous rectification.
Type: N-Channel MOSFET (Logic-Level)
Package: TO-252 / DPAK (SMD)
Drain-Source Voltage (VDSS): 30 V
Continuous Drain Current (ID):
78 A @ TC = 25 °C
55 A @ TC = 100 °C
Pulsed Drain Current (IDM): 310 A
Gate-Source Voltage (VGS): ±16 V
RDS(on) (max):
2.5 mΩ @ VGS = 4.5 V, ID = 20 A
1.7 mΩ @ VGS = 10 V, ID = 30 A
Total Gate Charge (Qg): 67 nC (typical @ VGS = 10 V)
Power Dissipation (PD): 96 W (TC = 25 °C)
Junction Temperature (Tj): −55 °C to +175 °C
Thermal Resistance (RθJC): 1.56 °C/W
Logic-level gate drive (works directly with 5V microcontrollers like Arduino, ESP32, STM32, etc.)
Ultra-low RDS(on) for high efficiency
High current handling (up to 78A continuous, 310A pulsed)
Rugged and reliable design
Suitable for high-frequency switching
Motor control (DC motors, robotics, drones)
DC-DC converters and switching regulators
Battery-powered systems (Li-ion packs, BMS)
Synchronous rectification in SMPS and inverters
Power switching and load drivers
This MOSFET is often chosen as a direct replacement for IRLZ44N in compact SMD designs because of its lower RDS(on) and higher current handling.
