Product introduction
The STM32 Nucleo board provides users with an affordable and flexible way to experiment with
new concepts and prototypes from STM32 microcontrollers,
choosing from a combination of performance, power and functionality.
ArduinoTMUno V3 connectivity support and ST morpho headers allow easy extension of the
functionality of the STM32 Nucleo open platform
You can choose a special shield. The STM32 Nucleo board does not require any separate probes because
it integrates the ST-LINK / V2-1 debugger and programmer.
The STM32 Nucleo board comes with the STM32 integrated software HAL library,
software examples in various packages, and direct access to ARM® mbedTM online resources on mbed.org.
Main feature
The STM32 microcontroller has
two types of extended resources in the QFP64 package : ArduinoTMUno
V3 connects to the
ST morpho extended pin header for full access to all STM32 I / O
ARM® mbedTM
onboard ST-LINK / V2-1 debuggers / Programmer with SWD connector:
Select mode switch to use this kit as a stand-alone ST-LINK / V2-1
flex board power supply:
USB VBUS or external source (3.3V, 5V, 7 – 12V)
power management access point
Three LEDs:
USB communication (LD1), user LED (LD2), power LED (LD3)
two buttons: USER and RESET
USB re-enumeration function. Three different interfaces are supported on USB:
virtual COM port
mass storage
debug port
supports multiple integrated development environments (IDE),
including IARTM, ARM®Keil®, GCC-based IDE
The STM32 Nucleo board provides an affordable and flexible way for users to
try out new ideas and build prototypes with any STM32 microcontroller line,
choosing from the various combinations of performance, power consumption and features.
The ArduinoTM connectivity support and ST Morpho headers make it easy
to expand the functionality of the STM32 Nucleo open development platform
with a wide choice of specialized shields.
The STM32 Nucleo board does not require any separate probe as it integrates
the ST-LINK/V2-1 debugger and programmer.
The STM32 Nucleo board comes with the STM32 comprehensive software HAL
library together with various packaged software examples, as well as direct access to mbed online
resources.
NUCLEO-F446RE is a Cortex-M4 development board designed by ST for the STM32F4 series.
It has mbed function and supports Arduino. ST Morpho expansion headers are also
available to connect all peripheral peripherals of the microcontroller.
The development board is based on the STM32F466RET6 design, and the development board
also integrates the ST-LINK/V2 emulation downloader (but only provides the SWD interface externally),
eliminating the need to purchase additional emulators or downloaders.
And with an Arduino-compatible interface, you can access the various Shield expansion boards
in the Arduino’s huge ecosystem, allowing you to add special features quickly and easily.
ST offers a rich sample program that gives you a quick start to the
STM32F4 microcontroller. Let go of your creativity!
