The A3959SB is a DMOS Full-Bridge PWM Motor Driver designed to control DC and bipolar stepper motors with PWM current control and integrated power MOSFETs. It’s useful for medium-power motor control applications where integrated logic, current decay mode selection, protection circuitry, and synchronous rectification are needed.

Supply Voltage (V<sub>DD</sub>): 4.5 V to 5.5 V typical logic supply for control circuitry.
Load Supply Voltage (V<sub>BB</sub>): ~9.5 V to 50 V for motor power.
Output Current Rating: ±3 A continuous (limited by package thermal) with ±6 A peak short bursts < 3 µs.
Output MOSFET On-Resistance: ~270 mΩ typical.
