It has all of the I/O pins available via Male Header with Easy to connect any digital or analog sensors or other external module via the onboard expansion header. It has the Crystal & Caps needed for the Atmega.

Moreover a female header to insert HC-05 Bluetooth module directly,

and for the programming you have two options ( using 6pin Standard AVR ISP header or using FTDI/CH340 common module for USB UART convert)
