Product Overview

The UGE BNO055 9-DOF IMU Fusion Breakout – Elite Series is a compact motion and orientation sensing board based on the Bosch BNO055
intelligent 9-axis absolute orientation sensor.

It combines a 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis magnetometer, and an onboard Cortex-M0+ processor running
sensor-fusion algorithms, allowing the host controller to read ready-to-use orientation data without implementing complex fusion calculations.

3.3V & 5V Compatible Power

The breakout can be powered from either 3.3V or 5V systems through VIN, with an input range of approximately 3V to 5.5V. This
makes it easy to integrate with common embedded platforms while keeping the onboard sensor circuitry operating at the correct voltage.

Logic note: the board interface is designed around 3.3V logic.

Integrated 9-Axis Sensor Fusion

Accelerometer

3-axis linear acceleration and gravity sensing.

Gyroscope

3-axis angular velocity sensing, with programmable ranges up to ±2000°/s.

Magnetometer

3-axis magnetic-field sensing for heading and orientation support.

The BNO055 uses its integrated Cortex-M0+ processor to combine the sensor data and provide fused orientation information directly to the host controller.
