The XB7608AJ is a highly integrated single-cell lithium-ion / lithium-polymer battery protection IC. It includes internal MOSFET switches and built-in detection logic to protect the cell from overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, short circuit, and reverse connection conditions. Only one external capacitor is generally required, which makes it suitable for compact battery packs.
It uses the CPC5 (compact) package to minimize space usage in battery modules.
