This 0603-size PPTC (Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient) resettable fuse provides overcurrent protection in compact electronic circuits. When excessive current flows, the device heats up, increases resistance, and limits current flow. Once the fault is removed and the fuse cools, it automatically resets — eliminating the need for replacement.
