Applications

Great for monitoring Voltage anywhere in the home — up to 100 Amps AC — so it could monitor the entire panel in a 100 AMP North American (NA) Style Service (USA/Canada/Mexico/El Salvador etc.), for example.

It requires threading at least one wire through the included coil. So at least one wire must be detached in the circuit you wish to monitor, threaded through the coil, and reattached. This process is explained below and in the diagrams.

It is 50Hz or 60 Hz — so current monitoring will be accurate for 110 or 220V 50Hz or 60Hz service. The Power Factor calculations will be correct for 50 or 60Hz.

In a 110-0-110 configuration of 220V (NA style) the current would be measured on the Neutral (common – colored white) lead. You would pass the common (White) lead through the coil. The Voltage would be measured across the two leads red and Black
