The EV1527 is a widely used encoder chip for wireless remote control systems. It is a CMOS LSI designed to generate fixed-length, 24-bit address and 4-bit data code words, suitable for PT2262-compatible systems. This chip is popular in 315 MHz / 433 MHz RF remote controls, garage doors, car alarms, wireless switches, and home automation devices.
