HLW8032 is a high-precision energy metering IC designed for single-phase, two-wire AC mains systems. It integrates two sigma-delta ADCs and a metering core that measures line voltage and current, then computes active power, apparent power, RMS values, and energy. It comes in a compact 8-pin SOP package and uses a 5 V supply.
