The RF detector operating frequency range 1-8000MHz (not wrong ) , can detect the RF signal -65–5dBm, and in the form of a DC voltage output is the detected signal strength (in dBm, logarithmic detection) , the such a radio frequency signal is converted into a DC voltage output. RF signal corresponding to the amplitude or power of the output voltage. You can do signal strength indicator RSSI, spectrum analyzer, gain control.
