The TM8211 is a stereo (dual-channel) 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) in an 8-pin SOP (or SOIC) package. It uses an R-2R resistor ladder architecture and supports common serial audio data formats to convert digital audio streams into analog outputs. It’s designed for cost-sensitive audio systems needing moderate performance.
It typically works with supply voltages in the range of 3 V to 8 V, and supports a high serial clock rate (up to ~18.4 MHz) to accommodate high sampling rates.
