By detecting EMG (EMG), measuring muscle activity have traditionally been used in medical research. However with smaller but more powerful microcontroller and the advent of integrated circuits , EMG sensor can be used for various control systems.

Sensor will measure the the electrical activity of the muscles of the rectifier output 0-Vs volts , the output value is depended on the amount of muscle activity .
It is very easy to use for Arduino controller detects muscle activity
